Child safety standards
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Life Captain has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Child ID tags and child profiles can only be created and managed by a parent or guardian. They show only the information the guardian chooses.
- Our service does not offer public profiles, chat between strangers, or ways to discover or contact children.
- Scanners can only send a message or alert to the guardian. They cannot see the guardian’s phone number unless the guardian has chosen to show it.
- Abusive scanners are blocked. We remove reported content and preserve evidence for law enforcement.
- We report CSAM and child-endangerment cases to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in, helpline 1930) and other authorities as required by law.
